Twenty-five years ago, TerraCottem didn’t exist. Dr Willem Van Cotthem at the University of Ghent was poised to discover TerraCottem’s base model: the fore-runner of a soil conditioner that’s made a success of projects around the world ever since.
It was a random question, asked over a quiet beer. But Nick Patterson from LGS has a good gut instinct because he spotted the potential. That’s the short story of how TerraCottem arrived in New Zealand. Here’s the longer version…

Under supervision of NZ distributor Landscape and Grower Supplies (LGS) and Greenscene NZ Limited Arboricultural Consultancy Division, in August 2017, 20 bare root A. subcordata were planted in adjacent plots: 10 control and 10 subject to TerraCottem Universal treatment.
