It is crucial to raise awareness about the goods and services that forests provide, and the risks that they face in an increasingly harsh climate, in order to boost support for restoration programmes in southern Europe.

Our CEO, Mrs Carol Devos, presented the TerraCottem soil conditioning technology at the Desso GrassMaster Expert Meeting in Manchester, UK. On February 11 and 12, more than 90 participants enjoyed a packed programme with visits and presentations.
By early April 2014 the installation of the eight SustAffor f ield trials was successfully completed, in four areas of NE Spain with strongly contrasted ecological conditions.
The FP7-SMEs project SustAffor (Bridging effectiveness and sustainability in afforestation / reforestation in a climate change context: new technologies for improving soil features and plant performance) started in October 2013 with a duration of 24 months.
