We gingen op bezoek bij Carlos Benoit, gepensioneerde tuinaanlegger uit Waregem. Méér dan een halve eeuw de drijvende kracht achter Tuinen Benoit. Een heel boeiende babbel met deze derde generatie hovenier, wiens familie hoogst waarschijnlijk een van de allereerste tuinaannemers uit het Waregemse waren. Bovendien was Carlos vermoedelijk ook een van de initiële TerraCottem gebruikers.

We visited Carlos Benoit, a retired landscaper from Waregem, in Belgium and the driving force behind Tuinen Benoit (Gardens Benoit) for over half a century. Our conversation with this third-generation gardener was truly fascinating. His family is likely among the first garden contractors in Waregem, a town that also happens to be the hometown of TerraCottem's founder, Bernard Devos. During our talk, it became clear that Carlos is among the first adopters of TerraCottem, further underscoring his pioneering spirit in the field.

Martin Solomon, originaire des Bahamas, nous a contactés l’année dernière sur la recommandation d’un ami pour acheter TerraCottem dans le cadre de son projet de plage à Windermere. Il y a six mois, il nous a écrit un bref message : « Un client satisfait du passé. Puis-je passer une nouvelle commande, s’il vous plaît ? » Nous étions naturellement ravis de l’assister. Rapidement, une série d’échanges de messages et de mails a débuté, au cours desquels Martin nous a partagé des photos des résultats impressionnants obtenus grâce à notre « produit extraordinaire », selon ses propres termes. Ces photos ont été suivies par des images de son projet actuel, où il passait le début de l’été à superviser les améliorations apportées par la communauté de Windermere Island à West Beach.

El año pasado, Martin Solomon, de las Bahamas, se puso en contacto con nosotros, recomendado por un amigo, para adquirir TerraCottem para su proyecto de playa en Windermere. Hace tres meses, volvió a ponerse en contacto con nosotros con un breve mensaje: «Soy un cliente satisfecho del pasado. ¿Puedo hacer otro pedido, por favor?». Naturalmente, estuvimos encantados de atenderle y pronto nos enzarzamos en una serie de mensajes y correos electrónicos, intercambiando fotos de los notables resultados conseguidos con nuestro «increíble producto», como lo describe Martin. A éstas siguieron pronto imágenes de su proyecto actual, en el que pasó el comienzo del verano supervisando las mejoras de la comunidad de la isla de Windermere en West Beach.

Last year, Martin Solomon from the Bahamas reached out to us, recommended by a friend, to purchase TerraCottem for his beach project on Windermere. Six months ago, he contacted us again with a brief message: “A happy customer from your past. Can I place another order, please?” Naturally, we were delighted to assist and soon engaged in a series of messages and emails, exchanging photos of the remarkable results achieved with our “amazing product” – as Martin describes it. These were soon followed by images of his current project where he spent early summer overseeing Windermere Island community improvements to West Beach.

Vorig jaar nam Martin Solomon, op aanraden van een vriend, contact met ons op: hij wou TerraCottem kopen voor zijn strandproject op Windermere in de Bahamas. Zes maanden geleden volgende een nieuwe, korte boodschap: “Een tevreden klant uit jullie verleden. Kan ik nog een bestelling plaatsen?”. Vanzelfsprekend. Al snel raakten we verwikkeld in een reeks berichten en e-mails, waarin we foto's ontvingen van de opmerkelijke resultaten die hij met ons 'verbazingwekkende product' hadden behaald, zoals Martin het omschrijft. Kort daarna stuurde hij ons ook beeldmateriaal van zijn huidige project, waarbij hij toezicht houdt op de verbeteringen van de Windermere Island gemeenschap op West Beach.
