Depuis novembre, la Belgique et ses pays voisins sont confrontés à des pluies incessantes, saturant les sols au point de rendre difficile l'accès aux chantiers avec de lourdes machineries. Cependant, cette situation a aussi ses avantages : elle offre plus de temps pour travailler en bureau. Desde noviembre, Bélgica y sus países vecinos se enfrentan a lluvias incesantes que saturan el suelo hasta el punto de dificultar el acceso a las obras con maquinaria pesada. Sin embargo, esta situación también tiene sus ventajas: da más tiempo para trabajar en la oficina. Es una oportunidad para que Loïc prosiga sus investigaciones y se reinvente, aprovechando al máximo este tiempo para innovar en su práctica.

We reached out to Loïc Delhaye, a landscape architect and frequent patron, to delve into his career journey and his exploration of TerraCottem. Since last November, Belgium and its neighbouring nations have been grappling with unrelenting rainfall, which has saturated the soil, complicating the use of heavy machinery on worksites. Nevertheless, this challenge presents a silver lining: it affords more office time. This period has provided Loïc with the opportunity to advance his research and reinvent his approach, enabling him to innovate within his field.

We spraken met Loïc Delhaye, een landschapsarchitect en trouwe klant, over zijn carrière en zijn ontdekkingstocht naar TerraCottem. Sinds november vorig jaar heeft België, samen met de buurlanden, te maken gehad met aanhoudende regenval. Dit heeft de bodem verzadigd, wat het gebruik van zware machines op bouwterreinen bemoeilijkt. Deze uitdaging heeft echter ook een positieve kant: er is meer tijd beschikbaar op kantoor. Loïc heeft deze kans aangegrepen om zijn kennis verder uit te breiden en zijn aanpak te heroverwegen. Zo blijft hij innovatief binnen zijn eigen vakgebied.
